“Pambikalbae” was made up of a number of chambered vanes, grouped together to form a frond. A tapering central stem and an anchoring stalk supports the frond. Several groupings of chambers occur on the vanes; these groups join together at a zigzag shaped suture at the central stem. “Pambikalbae” contains features that suggest an evolutionary relationship to modern cnidarians (the group that includes corals and jellyfish).
